Our work engages High Opportunity Voters—communities often mislabeled as “low propensity” in civic deserts—communities historically underserved and overlooked in traditional civic engagement efforts.
About Us
About the Action Fund
Somos El Voto: Alliance for a Better Community (ABC) Action Fund is a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization created to increase civic participation and drive impactful policy advocacy across Los Angeles County.
Led by ABC, this new initiative will work to build lasting civic power among Latina/o communities in the region—through voter education, organizing, and a values-driven policy agenda.
Why It Matters
There is currently no c4 in Los Angeles County solely focused on Latina/o voters—Somos El Voto fills that gap.
We are committed to reframing deficit-based narratives with an asset-based approach that recognizes the leadership, vision, and civic potential already present in our communities.
